For gasoline fans, Audi offers the A6 Avant with a supercharged 3.0 liter V6, and a naturally aspirated 2.viii liter V6 with 204 hp. The transmission offerings vary from six-speed transmission, seven-speed dual-clutch and eight-speed automatic.

Quattro is bachelor with all of the V6s.

At the entry-level diesel offerings, BMW responds with a 184 horsepower from its 520d model. Mercedes offers the 136 hp Eastward 200 CDI BlueEfficiency. In the 3.0 liter gasoline range, BMW offers the 535i with 300 horsepower and Mercedes brings the Due east 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY with 290 hp.

In terms of equipment, the new A6 Avant has a very similar program equally the sedan, however, new options are introduced, such as the parking sensor with "Surroundview" and the gesture-controlled opening of the tailgate.
